Isaac Rufus, Sr., son of the late Aaron Charlie Rufus and Ida Watts Rufus, and beloved husband of Virginia Cook Rufus, was born on September 17, 1957, in Bishopville, South Carolina. He passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter, South Carolina. He was a devoted man whose kindness and love was unwavering to his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, children, family, other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life Services will be held 1:00 P. M., Thursday, October 29, 2026 at Pine Grove AME Church, Rembert, with the Rev. Lorenzo Dinkins, Pastor. Burial will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery, Stuckey Town Road, Rembert. The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 47 Cooks Lane, Dalzell.
