Henry Lee Choice, affectionately known as “Chester” was born on September 24, 1963 in Sumter, South Carolina to the late John Henry Choice and Sallie Mae Pollard Choice. Chester departed this earthly life on October 5, 2026 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter, South Carolina. He was educated in the public Schools of Sumter County which helped shape the wisdom that he shared with others. From a young age, he discovered a passion for music which would become the heartbeat of his life and the foundation of a remarkable legacy. His memories will be cherished by his children, siblings and a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life services will be held 11:30 a. m., Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, 7355 Camden Highway, Rembert, with the Rev. Anthony L. Taylor, Pastor. Interment will follow in the Church Yard Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home of his sister, 4630 Ellerbe Mill Road, Rembert.
