Alaric Joe, son of the late Andrew Joe and Leola Hill Joe, was born December 14, 1938, in New York, New York. He departed this earthly life on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a graduate of Spaulding High School, in Lamar, SC, with the Class of 1956. Ricky served his country in the United States Air Force and later returned to New York, New York, where he worked for MTA and the Post Office until relocating to Atlanta, Georgia. Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, September 30, 2026 in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Dr. J. Elbert Williams, Officiating.
