Rayburn (Freddie) Gardner departed the earthly life and entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 27, 2026, at his residence. He was born on September 17, 1950, in Lee County and was the son of the late Olean Gardner. He graduated from Dennis High School with the Class of 1968. At an early age, he became a member of St. John AME Church, where he served in member many capacities when needed. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, children, family, other relatives and friends. Homegoing Celebration will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, July 31, 2026 at St. John AME Church, 520 South Main Street, Bishopville, with the Rev. Deidre Howard, Pastor. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 313 Kings Avenue, Bishopville
