Katie Mae Gibson, 77, oldest daughter of the late James and Lottie Wilson Bradley, was born on October 12, 1948 in Sumter, SC. She passed away on July 13, 2026 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital, Columbia. Katie attended the public schools of Sumter County and graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1967. She was employed with Cooper Tools for over 20 years. She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, family, other relatives and friends. Homegoing Celebration will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Reid Chapel AME Church, 1008 Dibert Street, Sumter, with the Rev. David L. Bright, Pastor and Rev. Dr. Thomas Bowman, Sr., eulogist The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 1435 Cherryvale Drive, Lot #48, Sumter.
