Farincee Ann James, daughter of the late Charles Merritt and Evanna Merritt, was born on January 3, 1953, in Manhattan (Harlem), New York. She entered eternal rest on July 1, 2026, at her residence in Sumter, South Carolina. She received most of her education from New York City public schools and later enrolled in Liberty University to pursue a Bachelor’s degree before her health started to decline. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a. m., Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Victory Praise Worship Center of Sumter, 841 North Main Street, Sumter, with Apostle P. F. Chambers, officiating.
