Moses “Tripp” Leon Gary III, 40, of Sumter, departed this life on Friday, May 8, 2026. He was born on August 14, 1985, in Sumter, to the late Moses Gary Jr. and Deloris Ann Gary. Moses attended the public schools of Sumter County and furthered his education at The Sumter Career Center, where he earned a two-year welding certificate. He later obtained his forklift license and continued his employment with Eaton in Sumter, South Carolina. His precious memories will be cherished by his wife, Vanessa Wright Gary, and children, other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 218 Gamble Street, Sumter Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A. M., Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Mulberry Baptist Church, 1400 Mulberry Church Road, Sumter, with Pastor. Leroy Blanding, Eulogist. Burial will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Highway 15 South, Sumter.
