Edna Mae Benjamin, 76, transitioned from this life surrounded by love on February 28, 2026. She was born on May 3, 1949 in Mayesville, South Carolina to the late Lucille Elizabeth Charles Benjamin and Lonnie Benjamin. Edna attended Lower Lee Public School and later Mt. Pleasant High School in Lee County, South Carolina. She joined Unionville A.M.E. Church at a young age. She was actively involved at the Gibbs Activity Center in Bishopville, where she built lasting friendships and found great joy in fellowship and community activities. Her precious memories will be cherished by family members, other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life Services will be held 11:00 A. M., Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Unionville AME Church, 1330 Swimming Pen Road, Mayesville, with the Rev. Jerome McCray, Pastor and the Rev. Larry Clark, Presiding. Burial will follow in the Churchyard Cemetery.
