Robert Lee “Sky” English transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest Thursday, February 19, 2026. He was the son of the late Marmon “Boot” and Marie Jones English, born October 28, 1948, Woodrow, South Carolina. Prior to joining the army, he became a member of Mt. Olive AME Church. He was educated in the public schools of Lee County. His memories will be cherished by his family, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 P. M., Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Mt. Olive AME Church, 2738 Woodrow Road, Sumter, with the Rev. Dr. R. L. Brown, Pastor. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Memorial Garden.
