Harry Lee Brunson, affectionately called Poo, was born in Lee County, South Carolina on November 5, 1937 to the late Haskel and Hattie Gregg Brunson. Harry Lee departed this life on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee, Florence, South Carolina. Harry Lee attended the public schools of Lee County. He was employed at Southern Coating/Sumter Coating for over 45 years and while working at Southern Coating, he held a part-time position at Pioneer Industry for 25 years. As a child, he began his spiritual journey at Unionville AME Church. His memories will be cherished by his two sons, grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A. M., Friday, February 20, 2026 at Unionville AME Church, 1330 Swimming Pen Road, Mayesville, with the Rev. Jerome McCray, Pastor. Burial will follow in the Church Yard Cemetery.
