Mary Sanders Johnson was born on August 19, 1942 to the late Charlie and Martha Delay Sanders. She departed this early life on January 20, 2026. Mary attended the public school in Lee County. At an early age, she moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she worked as a clerk in a family establishment. Mary moved back to South Carolina when her health started too failed and joined Grant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as a faithful member of the Senior Missionary and the Usher Board. Her precious memories will be cherished by her family, other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 6500 Daniel Taylor Lane, Rembert. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A. M., Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Grant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 5401 Black River Road, Sumter, with Pastor Clifton N. Witherspoon, Eulogist. Burial will follow in the Church Yard Cemetery.
