Brenda I. Lowery Wilson, daughter of the late Edward L. Lowery, Sr. and Mary Jane Linton Lowery, was born March 10, 1963 in Sumter County, SC. She departed this earthly life on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Lexington Medical Center, Lexington, SC. At an early age, she joined Mt. Olive A. M. E. Church. Later she became a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, where she was baptized. She was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and a graduate of Hillcrest High School with the Class of 1981. Her love for the Lord was evident through her commitment to Gospel music. In 1982, she joined the quartet group, Supreme Angels, which later became the Singing Angels. Precious memories will be cherished by her children, brothers and sisters, and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at 3890 Spencer Road, Rembert. Celebration of Life services will be held 11:00 A. M., Friday, January 23, 2026 at Mt. Olive AME Church, 2738 Woodrow Road, Woodrow, with the Rev. Dr. R. L. Brown, Pastor. Burial will follow in the Colclough Cemetery, Dubose Siding Road, Sumter.
