Geneva Dixon Wilson, widow of Malachi “Booter” Wilson, was born on March 22, 1933, in Lee County to the late Robert Dixon and Ida Davis Dixon. She departed this earthly life at home on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Geneva obtained her early education in the Lee County School System and gained employment in the manufacturing Industry. At an early age, Geneva was reared in her home church, Mt. Olive AME Church, Woodrow, but later united with her husband at New Zion AME Church, Wysacky. After the death of her husband, Geneva joined Progressive Church of Lord Jesus Christ, where she served faithfully until her health declined. Geneva leaves to cherish her precious memories: her children and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 414 Perkins Street, Bishopville. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P. M., Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Lee Central High School, 1800 Wysacky Highway, Bishopville, with Minister David Gillins of Progressive Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Inc., presiding and Elder Ronald Scott of Progressive Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Inc., officiating. Burial will follow in the Piedmont Cemetery, 720 Sumter Highway, Bishopville.
