Shirley Jean Brown, daughter of the late Frances Smith and John Brown, was born in Baxley, Georgia on December 29, 1955. She departed this earthly life on November 26, 2025. In 1964, the family moved to Newark, New Jersey, where she was educated in the Newark School System. She was employed with Budweiser Busch on the assembly line from 1988 until 2010. She moved to Willow Springs, North Carolina and resided there until May 2025, when she moved to Sumter where she lived until her passing. She leaves to cherish her memories: her sons, grandchildren, siblings and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 2822 August Drive, Sumter. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 A. M., Saturday, December 13, 2025 in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with Minister M. Brooke Williams, Eulogist.
