Jerry Ben Corbett, son of the late Virgil and Eva Corbett, was born September 8, 1946 in Bishopville, South Carolina. He attended the public schools of Lee County. He departed this life on September 19, 2025. Jerry was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in the Lucknow Area of Lee County, South Carolina. Jerry was a Vietnam Veteran where he had several jobs as he served his Country. He also was a lifetime member of the VFW. He leaves family members, other relatives and friends to cherish his memory. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a. m., Monday, September 29, 2025, at New Hope Baptist Church, 228 New Hope Church Road, Bishopville, with the Rev. Bernard Belton, Pastor. Burial will follow 1:00 p. m. in the Florence National Cemetery, 803 East National Cemetery Road, Florence.
