Andre Virgil Delay, affectionately known as “Dre”, son of Dorothy Furman Delay and the late Moise Delay, Sr., was born on January 24, 1968, in Baltimore, Maryland. He entered eternal rest on September 18, 2025, at the age of 57. Andre attended Sumter High School. He leaves precious memories to be cherished by his children, other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life Services will be held 11:00 a. m., Friday, September 26, 2025 in The John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Dr. James Graham, officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Highway 441, Dalzell.
