Rosa Lee Jenkins Wactor, “Bay” as she was known to many, was born March 22, 1937 in Lee County, to the late Sylvester “Sky” Johnson and Evelina “Kitty” Jenkins and departed this life at the home of her daughter, Teresa Mack, on September 11, 2025. She attended the public schools of Lee County. At an early age, she joined Mt. Olive A. M. E. Church, Woodrow, South Carolina. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Joseph Wactor, Sr. Her precious memories will be cherished by her children, other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 27 Pine Street, Sumter and 3370 Alpenglow Drive, Dalzell. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m., Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Mt. Olive AME Church, 2738 Woodrow Road, Woodrow, with the Rev. Dr. R. L. Brown, Pastor. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Memorial Garden, Pear Street, Sumter.
