Neil O’Donnell Moses, husband of Wanda Norris Moses and son of the late Frank Moses, Jr. and Mary Delores Harding Moses, was born February 8, 1963 in Sumter County. He was raised with his 8 siblings in the “The Bottom” on Harris Street. He transitioned into the next life on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Neil attended the public schools of Sumter County, Crosswell Elementary, Bates Middle and graduated with the Class of 1981 from Sumter High School, where he was an all-star football player. He continued his education and athletics at Fort Valley State University, Fort Valley, Georgia. Neil leaves his family and a host of other relatives and friends to cherish his memories. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 2725 Sing Drive, Sumter. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a. m., Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Bethel AME Church, 215 East Calhoun Street, Sumter, with the Rev. D. Moses Davis, Pastor. Burial will follow in the Hillside Memorial Park, 2561 Cain’s Mill Road, Sumter.
