Early Friday morning on June 13, 2025, God in His infinite wisdom dispatched angels around Susan “Susie” Lee Rose Bracey while she was sleeping to bring her home to gain eternal life. Born June 11, 1936, she was the fourth child of the late Wigfall Rose Sr. and Wilhelmenia Washington Rose. Susie was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. At an early age, she joined New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She was a domestic employee for many years. She leaves precious memories to be cherished by family members and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home of her daughter, 1912 Georgianna Drive, Sumter. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p. m., Saturday, June 21, 2025 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 3249 Highway 15 South, Sumter, with the Rev. Willie A. Wright, Jr., Pastor. Burial will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Highway 15 South, Sumter.
