Aaron Pearson, beloved husband, father, brother and friend, was born July 2, 1933 in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Marion Pearson, Sr. and Emma Pearson. He was the husband of the late, Irene Pearson. Mr. Pearson departed this earthly life on May 16, 2025 at 91 years of age while at Five Oaks Nursing Home in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Sumter, and was employed by Tuomey Hospital, Sumter Machinery, and retired from Pilgrims Hatchery after working there for several years. His spiritual journey began at an early age as a member of the Enon Missionary Baptist Church where he was a lifelong member. When he relocated to North Carolina, he became a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He leaves precious memories to be cherished by his family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home of his niece, 1270 Morris Way Drive, Sumter. Celebration of Life Services will be held 12:00 Noon, Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 155 Wall Street, Sumter, with Pastor Julie A. Hayes, Officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Holiness Church Cemetery, 909 Martinville Road, Sumter.
