Mary E. Dow, daughter of the late James Alford Dow and Thelma Abrams Dow Jenkins, departed this life on April 27, 2025 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. She was born in Sumter County on August 24, 1951. Mary started her early education in the public school system of Sumter, S. C. and later finished in Brooklyn, N. Y. Mary later returned to Sumter and received her Associates Degree from Sumter Area Technical College. Her memories will be cherished by her sons and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on 2:30 p. m., Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church USA, 4620 Queen Chapel Road, Dalzell, with the Rev. Carnell Hampton, Moderator, Eulogist. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church Yard Cemetery.
