Margie Lee Hayes Nelson, daughter of the late Henry George Hayes and Earlease Bradley Hayes, was born on November 22, 1940 in Mayesville, South Carolina. “Mar-Lee”, as she was affectionately called, was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. She departed this earthly life on April 18, 2025. Her loving memories will be cherished by her devoted children, family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 4490 Excursion Drive, Dalzell. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P. M., Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 136 South Main Street, Mayesville, with the Rev. Carnell Hampton, Moderator, officiating. Burial will follow in the Mayesville Community Cemetery, Mayesville.
