Christopher Louis Roach, affectionately known as ‘Chris’, departed his earthly life on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Prisma Health Richland in Columbia, SC. He was born on September 2, 1998, in Sumter County to Latonya Roach Rashid and Brad Nelson, Sr. Christopher was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and a 2017 graduate of Crestwood High School, where is passion was being the captain of the Crestwood Night Train Drumline. He leaves a legacy of love and cherished memories to his family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 1639 Crown Dale Drive, Sumter. Celebration of Life Services will be held 1:00 P. M., Thursday, April 17, 2025 at High Hills AME Church, 6780 Meeting House Road, Dalzell, with the Rev. Phillip L. Washington, Pastor. Burial will follow in the High Hills AME Church Yard Cemetery.
