Dewitt “Billy” Clark was born August 29, 1945 to the late Dewitt Clark Sr. and Edna F. Davis in Sumter. He departed this earthly life on April 11, 2025. He attended the public schools of Sumter County and Ebenezer High School. Billy loved singing and playing music for the Son of Joy and Palmetto Gospel Singers. His precious memories will be cherished by his family and friends. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A. M., Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Church Of God, 313 Mooneyham Road, Sumter, with Pastor James Clark, officiating. Burial will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Highway 15 South, Sumter.
