Calvin Wright Sr. was born February 12, 1961 in Turbeville, to the late Henry Moses and Beulah McCray Wright. He departed this earthly life on March 26, 2025 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. Calvin was educated in the Public Schools of Clarendon and Sumter County and graduated from Maywood High School with the Class of 1979. He leaves precious memories to be cherished by his family and a host of other relatives and Friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a. m., Monday, March 31, 2025 in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter with the Rev. Dr. Devon Wright, Sr., Officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Baptist Church Yard Cemetery, 1146 Old Manning Road, Turbeville.
