Gloria Jean Hodge Davis, daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy Hodge Maxfield and the late Sammie Lee and Mary Lee Walters, was born on June 27, 1953. She departed this earthly life on March 22, 2025. At an early age, she accepted Christ and joined Union Station AME Church, where she served on Stewardess Board #3. She was a faithful employee at Color-Fi until 1996. Gloria was a graduate of Sumter High School, Class of 1972. She leaves precious memories to be cherished by her husband, children, family members and friends. Celebration of Life Services will be held 11:00 A. M., Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Union Station AME Church, 945 South Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Lemuel Washington, Pastor. Burial will follow in the St. Mark AME Church Cemetery, 6097 Adelman Camp Road, Alcolu.
