Ruby Maxine Blair was born on August 9, 1965 in Sumter County to the late Thomas and Louise Dinkins Kirkland. She entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 16, 2025. She grew up and was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. Ruby was married to John Michael Blair and to this union four children were born. Ruby was a devoted employee for K-Mart for years until closing. Her memories will be cherished by her children, family and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:30 P. M., Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, 7355 Highway 521 North, Camden Highway, Rembert, with the Rev. William Sanders, Officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church Yard Cemetery.
