Marcia May Wallace, daughter of Claris Lindo and the late Samuel Wallace, was born on August 8, 1957 in Kingston, Jamaica. She transitioned to her heavenly home on December 18, 2024. She was educated at Norman Manley Secondary School in Kingston, Jamaica. In 1987, she received her opportunity to come to the States (Brooklyn, New York), where she started as a librarian at Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan, New York. After that, she began her work in health care becoming a personal care aide. She leaves precious memories to be cherished by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A. M., Thursday, January 9, 2025, in the John Wesley Williams, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Howard Simmonds, Officiating.. Burial will follow in the Bradford Cemetery.
