Master Sergeant David Coleman Jr. was born on August 30, 1951, in Bishopville, to the late David Coleman and Carrie Spann Coleman. He departed this earthly life on December 12, 2024. He was a beloved son, brother, father, husband and grandfather all who will cherish his memories along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at 1760 Brigantine Drive, Sumter. Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon, Friday, December 20, 2024 in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with Elder Allen Nesmith, Presiding Eulogist. Burial will follow at 2:30 p. m. in the Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia.
