Jermaine “Jay” Devon Sweat, 45, departed this life on Sunday, December 1, 2024. Jermaine was born March 20, 1978 in Sumter County. He graduated from Sumter High School with the Class of 1997. His memories will be cherished by his mother, Hazel (Dewitt) Clark, and other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a. m., Monday, December 9, 2024 at New Bethel Baptist Church, 3249 Highway 15 South, Sumter. Burial will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Highway 15 South, Sumter.
