Harry D. English, affectionately known as "Duga", was born on November 28, 1926, in Lee County and perished peacefully on October 28, 2024, at his home in Sumter. Harry was raised in a Christian home and gave his life to Christ at an early age. He was born to the late Reverend John Henry (SYPO) English Sr. and Laura Taylor. His precious memories will be cherished by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a. m., Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 14 Brand Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Larry W. Barnes, Pastor, Eulogist. Burial will follow in the Clark United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2980 Oswego Highway, Sumter.
