Richard Porcher, Jr., AKA “Ricky”, son of the late Richard Porcher, Sr. and Rebecca Lonnon Porcher, was born March 29, 1967 in Sumter. He departed this earthly life on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. Richard attended the public schools of Sumter County. His work experiences were with several Moving and Storage Companies. Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Saturday, May 18, 2024, at St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church, 129 ½ West Moore Street, Sumter with Elder Barrington Pierson, Pastor. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Lee County. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home of his sister, 861 Carolina Avenue, Apt #59, Sumter.
