Deborah E. Floyd, widow of Charles K. Floyd entered eternal rest on Friday, January 19, 2024 at her residence. Born in Summerville, South Carolina on July 8, 1958 to the late Marion Rudd and Edna Rudd. Deborah was a devoted CNA for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles K. Floyd; her mother, Edna Rudd; father, Marion Rudd; sister, Jackie Dennis; brother, Marion C. Rudd; great grandson, Cody Weatherford. She leaves behind a brother, Robert Rudd (Lynda) of Texas; her two children, Christy Ratliff of Texas and David Rudd (Ashley) of Sumter, S. C.; special niece, live in care taker, Tosha Dennis (Eric) of Sumter, S. C.; six grandchildren, Jada, Katilynn (David) of Arizona, William, David, Trenton, Janiyah; two great gransons, Kaison and Alexander; nephew, Paul (Elizabeth), Thomas (Nikki), Lil Robert (Samatha); nieces, Sara, Rebecca (Daniel); great nieces and nephews, Erisen, Jalayah, Anthony, Austin, Arianna, Serena, Ayla, Jayce, Adalee, J. P., Bryson, Daniel, Levi, and Abby, and a host of other relatives and friends. In accord with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during all visitation at the home, 2240 Kelterr Circle, Wedgefield. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p. m., Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Linda Boodle, Presiding and Rev. Dr. J. Elbert Williams, Eulogist. The procession will leave the home at 1:20 p. m. Services were entrusted to the management and staff of Williams Funeral Home, Inc. 821 North Main Street, Sumter, S C 29150.
