Welcome to Williams Funeral Home

In the beautiful City of Sumter, on September 22, 1959, to the parents, Frank Clea, Sr. and Ethel Davis Clea, both of whom preceded him in death, David “Tony” Clea was born. Tony was the third of seven children, three proceeded him in death, Mattie Lucile Clea, Frank “Pete” Clea Jr. and Patricia Clea. He departed this earthly life on December 6, 2022. Tony was a kind hearted guy and one thing for sure he loved his mother, Ethel Clea. Tony always kept a joke nearby, so no matter what mood you were in he had a way to make it better. Some of the many roads you may travel now in the City of Sumter has Tony’s fingerprints as he worked in construction. Tony was blessed to have two biological children, Sean Wright and Nia Wright and bonus daughter, Tiffany Wright; six grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will cherish his memories. David was a hard working man of labor, a carpenter and a woodsman. So on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, the great carpenter, Jesus Christ, saw fit to allow this laborer, Tony Clea, to get hi reward and rest from this world of sorrow and grief. In accordance with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitations at the home, 5430 John Leary Lane, Rembert.
