Ja’Heem “Catdaddy” Roshaun Lada’ McCauley was born November 29, 2001 in Sumter to Shirley McCauley (Leroy) Wactor and the late Roosevelt McMillion, Jr. He was raised with his older sister, Monae (William) Sumpter and two younger siblings, Sha’Keema and Ja’Quell McCauley. Ja’Heem died on Saturday, October 15, 2022 in a car crash. Ja’Heem attended the public schools of Sumter County and graduated from Crestwood High School, Class of 2020. He was a social butterfly. In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 5395 Colclough Plantation Road, Sumter.
