Mrs. Anna Mae McGee Muldrow departed this life on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at her home. Born in Sumter County on March 22, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Gibson and Anna Dell Rogers McGee. She was a loving and caring wife to her husband, Joe Muldrow, who preceded her in death. She attended the public schools of Sumter County and worked as a sales clerk at K-Mart for many years before retiring. She attended Quinn Chapel A. M. E. Church, where she served as President of the Stewardess Board, a member of the Usher Board, Trustee Board and served as secretary of the Women Missionary Society for a number of years. She was a quiet, patient person who loved the Lord, who cared for and visited numerous persons as long as she was able. She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted and loving daughter, Ruth, of the home; her sons, Joseph W. (Allesia) of Jacksonville, N. C., Anthony (Alice) of Greensboro, N. C., Alonzo (Michelle) of Mt. Pleasant, S. C., Melvin of Cheyenne, WY; three sisters, Louise Williams and Dorothy McGee of Highland Park, N. J., Estelle (Charles) Ousley of Piscataway, N. J.; one brother, Charles (Yvonne) Smyrna, DE; sister-in-law, Dorothy Muldrow of Las Vegas, NV; twelve grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Also, special and beloved nieces, Vivian Washington and Janie Pack, who were outstanding caregivers.
