Delgard Bradford, Jr., the son of the late Delgard and Essie Capers Bradford, was called to eternal rest on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 7:27 p. m. at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter, South Carolina. Delgard was born on March 15, 1942 in Sumter, South Carolina. He leaves to cherish his memory six nephews; eight nieces, and a host of grand nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. In accordance with COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitations at the home, 4400 Broad Street, Lot #38, Sumter. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a. m., Saturday, February 5, 2022, in the John Wesley Williams, Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Joseph Ricks, Eulogist. The procession will leave the home at 10:20 a. m. Burial will be in the Grant Hill Missionary Baptist Church Yard Cemetery, 5401 Black River Road, Rembert.
