Louise Jenkins was born April 22, 1957 to the late Mary Louise Jordan and Jessie Jenkins. She was raised and educated in Newark, New Jersey. She relocated to Sumter in 2010. Louise passed away at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter on Monday, December 27, 2021. She was preceded in death by her two daughters, Tara Jenkins and Lynette Jenkins. Louise was so loved for her sense of humor and comedic spirit. She truly will be missed. We loved her, but God loves her best. She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving son, Anthony Jenkins; a grandson, Anthoni Jenkins; six aunts, Bertha McDuffie, Mattie Wilson-Linton of Sumter, Rovena Burton, Ethel Abram, Sarah Wilson and Marjorie Jenkins, all of New Jersey; four uncles, James (Kimberly) Wilson, Elder (Clara) Wilson, Robert (Yvette) Wilson and James Coolie Jenkins, all of New Jersey; a devoted and loving friend, James Lewis; and a host of cousins, especially Jeanette Mason, Shirley Lockhart, other family members and friends. In accordance with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during all visitation at the home, 101 North Wise Drive, Apt # 101, Sumter. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Monday, January 10, 2022 in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Frank Williams, Jr., Eulogist. The procession will leave the home at 11:20 a. m. Burial will be in St. Paul Holiness Church Cemetery, Martin Town Road, Sumter.
