Sharon Denise Vaughn Kemp, daughter of the late James, Sr. and Mable R. Vaughn, was born on July 24, 1956 in Philadelphia, PA. On Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at National Health Care in Sumter, she entered into eternal rest. Sharon, affectionately known as Neesie, attended the public schools of Sumter and was a graduate of Sumter High School Haynesworth Campus and Central Carolina Technical College. Neesie was a former employee of AT&T and Walmart. She was joined in holy matrimony to Samuel B. Kemp in 1972. At a young age she joined Shepherd United Methodist Church. Neesie will be missed but forever remembered by her two sons, Michael B. Kemp of Charlotte, NC and Daniel M. Kemp of Sumter; five grandchildren; two sisters, Tonia V. Fair of Columbia and Michelle V. Vaughn of Sumter; one brother, James (Mill) Vaughn, Jr. of Tampa, FLA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 10:00 a. m., Saturday, October 9, 2021 in John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev.
