Patrick Clifton Clark, husband of the late Yvette Foster Clark, son of Dewitt Clark and the late Rosa L. Slater Clark, was born August 18, 1968 in Sumter County. Patrick departed this earthly life on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. He received his formal education in the public schools of Sumter County. Patrick was employed at Cooper Tool until his health failed. Patrick was a devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his father, Dewitt (Hazel) Clark; two sons, Patrick Clark, Jr. and Roosevelt (Alia) Foster; three sisters, Lydia Anderson, Lafonda (Harlan) Habersham, Linda Clark and one brother, Dewitt (Erica) Clark, Jr.; five aunts, Shirley Harris, Hattie Burns, Barbara Walker, Bernice Slater, Diane Slater; eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren; a special niece, Janea Washington; a special nephew, Jamar Ford; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In accordance with the COVID -19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during all visitations at the home, 2611 Stanley Court, Sumter. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m., Saturday, March 27, 2021 in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Jackie Jackson, officiating. The procession will leave from the home at 1:20 p. m. Burial will follow in the White's Cemetery, Airport Road, Sumter.
