Barbra Ann Vaughn was born December 20, 1962 to Thelma Jenkins Vaughn and the late Henry Vaughn III. God in His almighty wisdom looked down and took Barbara silently into eternal rest on March 1, 2021 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. Barbra was educated in the Sumter County Public Schools and a graduate of Hillcrest High School, Class of 1981. She was a life long member of the Joshua Baptist Church, Dalzell. She was formerly employed with Tuomey Hospital until her health failed. She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Thelma Vaughn; two daughters, Kendra (Travis) McCoy of Schenectady, N. Y. and Kenyetta Vaughn of Dalzell; one granddaughter, Trinity Marie McCoy; five sisters, Brenda Michael of Sumter, Patrice (Kenny) Billie of Columbia, Cynthia Vaughn, Gloria (Don) Lawson and Henretta Vaughn of Dalzell; three nieces, Robin Michael, Demetrius Brooks and Jayla Lawson, all of Columbia; four nephews, Gregory Michael, Timothy (Ebony) Brooks of Columbia, Marquis (Randa) Vaughn of Saudi Arabia, Adrian and Keyshawn Vaughn of Dalzell; nine aunts; five uncles; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. In accordance with the COV19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitations at the home. Gravesides Services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 – 2:30 p. m. in the Joshua Baptist Church Yard Cemetery, 5200 Live Oak Road, Dalzell, with Pastor Eugene G. Dennis, officiating. The procession will leave from the home at 2:00 p. m.
