Horace Lee Carter II, 71, widower of Yon OK Carter, was born on May 11, 1949 in Greenville to the late Horace Lee Carter Sr. and Lucille K. Carter. He died on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. Horace was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Greenville. He was a graduate of Greenville High School, Class of 1967. He was the PC Network/System Tech at Central Carolina in Sumter. Horace was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He is survived by: one son, Horace Lee Carter III (Brandolyn) of Sumter; one daughter, Lisa M Lane (Tyler M.) of Beaufort; two sisters, Maxine C. Riley of Mooresville, NC and Imogene C. Williams of Seneca; one grandchild, Zelda E. Lane of Beaufort; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be 11:00 a. m. – 5:00 p. m., Monday, December 28, 2020 in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter. Graveside services will be held 1:30 p. m., Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1901 Wade Hampton Boulevard, Greenville, with the Rev. Lenny Miller, officiating.
