On Sunday morning, June 21, 2020, God called to eternal rest Christina Brunson Chennault, daughter of the late Kelly Brunson and Naomi Chambers. Christina was educated in the public schools of Lee County and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. After graduating from High School, Christina moved to Richmond, Virginia, where she resided for many years. She was employed with Phillip Morris for 24 years. Upon retiring from Phillip Morris, Christina returned to Lee County. Christina leaves to cherish her memories: her four children, Sidney Brunson of Columbia, Wanda Cain of Belmont, N. C., Stacy Chennault and Nick Chennault of Richmond, Virginia; three sisters, Ollie Jordan, Sylvia (Cornell) Andrews and Nancy (Scott) Sweet; two brothers, Willie (Chrissy) Brunson and Ambrose (Sarah) Fleming; six aunts; two uncles; twenty grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Due to the Covid 19 the family is requesting no visitation at the home. Viewing for family will be Friday, June 26, 2020, 11 a. m.–1 p. m. and public viewing from 1 p. m. - 6 p. m. in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel, Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter. Graveside Services will be held 12 noon, Saturday, June 27, 2020 from the St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church Memorial Garden, 510 Manville- Wisacky Road, Bishopville, with Pastor Yancy C. Martin, Sr., officiating, eulogist.
