Gladys Richbow Walker, 93, departed this life on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. She was the daughter of the late Elijah and Amelia “Lizzie” Pringle Richbow and widow of Henry Walker. Born on June 20, 1926 in Sumter County. She was educated at Westberry School, Horatio. She leaves to cherish her memories: two sisters, Emma Habersham and Francis Dinkins; one brother, Ceaser Richbow; two nieces, Kate Richbow and Lorine Vincent; one nephew, Roy Dinkins; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home of her sister, 675 Old Light House Lane, Rembert. Funeral Services will be held noon, Wednesday, February 26, 2020 in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel, Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Frank Williams Jr., officiating, eulogist. The procession will leave the home at 11:20 a. m. Burial will be in the Willow Grove A. M. E. Church Cemetery, Horatio.
