Freddie Lee Wright, 75, widower of Deloris Bracey Wright, died Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. Born February 3, 1944, in Sumter County, he was the son of the late George Wright, Sr. and Catherine Amos Wright. He worked at Korns Industries and Georgia Pacific and as a car salesman for 30 plus years. Survivors include: one daughter, Kathy Michelle Wright; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Wright; three brothers, LeRoy (Wilma) Wright, Willie Jean Wright, all of Sumter and Timothy Wright of Orlando, FLA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 730 Boulevard Road, Sumter. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 30, 2019, 10 a. m. from the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel, Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Harry Clark, officiating, eulogist. The procession will leave at 9:30 a. m. from the home. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery.
