Claudia Davis Davis, 92, transitioned to her eternal home on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at her home. Born April 15, 1926, in Sumter County, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Lillian Davis. She was united in Holy matrimony to the late Wallace Davis. She is survived by: her children, Frances (Bennie) Bradley of Dalzell, Wanda Holiday of Atlanta, GA, Ricky McCray of San Diego, CA, Emily Davis of the home, Felicia Davis of Sumter, Rashad Davis of the home and Shalesha (Carlos) Mayrant of Sumter; one sister, Barbra Baxter; one brother, Henry (Alma) Davis of Sumter; a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home of Emily Davis, 3880 Myrtle Beach Highway, Sumter and at the home of Frances Bradley, 40 Kings View Drive, Dalzell from 6 – 9 pm. Homegoing services will be held today, January 29, 2019, 11 a. m., at Northwestern Christian Ministries, 2190 Peach Orchard Road, Sumter, with the Rev. Bennie Bradley, Pastor, Eulogist. The Remains will be placed in the church at 10 a. m. for viewing until time of services. The funeral procession will leave at 10:20 a. m. from the home, 3880 Myrtle Beach Highway, Sumter. Burial will be in the Hillside Memorial Park.
