Lashaysha Edith Kelley, daughter of the late George Ann Taylor, was born on February 18, 1988 in Sumter. She was called home to glory on Monday, April 11, 2022. She was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. She attended Mount Glory Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Mary Lowery Harvin. Lashaysha loved the Lord, her family and lifting others up in prayer. She was known for baking delicious treats for her family and friends. She was employed with Walmart as a store clerk. Lasaysha’s spirit will live on through her daughter, Autuma “Tootsie” Kelley; one sister, Courtney Bradley; step father, Elijah Bradley; uncle, Clarence Taylor; aunts, Charletta (Raymond) Woods, Betty Mae Baker; special cousins, Rayneka Taylor and Ophelia Baldwin, and a host of other relatives and friends. In accordance with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting no visitation at the home. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p. m., Tuesday, April 19, 2022 in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with Minister Shirl Nance, officiating. The procession will leave the home at 12:30 p. m. Burial will be in the Walker Cemetery, Oakland Avenue, Sumter.
