Earnest Jenkins, son of Doretha Jenkins and Ernest Simon, was born on September 11, 1954 in Lee County, South Carolina. He departed this earthly life on October 23, 2025 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital, Columbia, South Carolina. He was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and employed with Robert McIntosh Construction for many years. His precious memories will be cherished by his family and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at 710 South Main Street, Sumter. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, November 1, 2025 in the John Wesley William Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Roland Johnson, Officiating.
