McKinley Murray, Jr. was born May 2, 1955 to the late McKinley Murray Sr. and Willie Mae Sigler Murray. He departed this earthly life on August 21, 2025 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter. “Boot Jr.”, as he was affectionately called, was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. In his earlier years, he attended Orangehill Reformed Methodist Episcopal Church which is now known as Orangehill Independent Methodist Church. His memories will be cherished by his sister, other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 1385 Grandville Court #5, Sumter. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a. m., Friday, August 29, 2025 in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter with the Rev. Lemuel L. Washington, pastor of Union Station AME Church, Officiating.
