Johnnie Blease Williams, “Bubba” as he was affectionately known, was born May 24, 1944 in Clarendon County to the late Willie Williams, Sr. and Janie Williams. He was taken into eternal rest on Monday, August 18, 2025 at Oak Hollow Nursing Home, Sumter. Johnnie attended the public schools of Clarendon County and was employed with the City of Sumter for a number of years. His memories will be cherished by a host of family members and friends. Celebration of Life services will be held 11:00 a. m., Friday, August 22, 2025 in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 821 North Main Street, Sumter, with the Rev. Rickey Stuckey, Officiating.
